NZPF is preparing a submission on the Teaching Council fees setting and seeks your views. We want to be sure that the submission accurately represents what you see as the Teaching Council’s role, what you are prepared to pay for, how much and how you wish to pay it.

It is not intended that the Teaching Council will, in future, receive government funding and so for it to operate as an autonomous professional body, advocating for its members, all funding will come from members. It is proposed that levies and registration fees will increase by approximately 114% to meet all reasonable operating costs of the Teaching Council.
