Te Arahou – MAC

Tena Koutou Katoa. He mihi ki a Koutou.

Te Arahou - MAC celebrates 10 years of significant growth and success and will host a conference in Auckland October 16th - 18th. Nau mai, haere mai!

From humble beginnings of 47 schools in 2013 we now cater for nearly 500 schools from Kaitaia to Invercargill across to Stewart Island.  We have a staff of 24 deeply committed to changing hearts and minds in pursuit of this kaupapa. We have published a Curriculum and Graduate Profile Book - Te Whare Tapu o Te Ngākau Māori - ki te wheiao ki te ao mārama that aligns with Mātaiaho NZC. We are working on digital and hard copy resources to support this. These will be available to all MAC schools.

MAC is a Kaupapa not a PLD programme. We are a whānau not individual participants. We are ex-principals and can work with you on any kaupapa in your school. We work with staff, whānau, community and Boards of Trustees.

We hope for a renewal of our contract with the Ministry of Education. We believe MAC should be in every school in Aotearoa NZ and will work to achieve this. If you are interested in joining up or attending our conference go to our website

Membership Cards

Some of you will have by now received a new NZPF membership card that we have developed for the convenience of our members.

This card includes your principal and school’s name, alongside your unique NZPF membership number. This number can be referred to when subscribing to, or renewing, your PASL (Principals Legal Advice and Support) contract or nominating a principal for the national executive or an NZPF award.
  ㅤ
Here at the NZPF we are proud to have a constantly evolving membership, however this means that some details may not be current at the time of printing. If you find that the details on your card are out of date, please contact admin@nzpf.ac.nz so we can reissue a new one to your school.

It is also important to note that your NZPF number is associated with the school and not the principal. If your school has a change in principal, your NZPF number will remain the same.
This membership card also contains a QR code that, in scanning, will take you to an external platform where you can gain access to further resources such as our website. This will also contain information that is relevant at the time (for example, this platform currently contains a link to the NZPF conference programme for those who are attending in September.)

This QR code can be seen below, for those who may wish to access this platform for themselves. We recommend that you keep your membership card in a safe place for easy access and hope that you find this a useful tool.
